ESL Teaching Strategies (Seminar / training ) ? Silang in Silang, Calabarzon

I was shocked when I saw three of my co-teachers when I first braved the world of ESL tutorial, more or less three years ago. Before I started tutoring, those teacher had already been teaching for three years. Very recently, I met all three of them again in a language school where they were working as tutors. Their eyes almost popped out of thier sockets when they learned that I was going to be their trainer...that I have already trained hundreds of teachers. I remembered telling those people that I am working on something that i believed could really revolutionize my teaching career. They dismissed my idea as one big waste of time. I feel sorry for those people. Even after seeing the very obvious difference between our situation, they still continued clinging to their old, rotten principles.
If you want to be a more effective teacher, you have to do something. i am sure you have already done something in the past. But if everything that you have done didn't bring you anywhere close to English proficiency, i believe it's time for a change...
Remember, if you keep on doing the same things that you have been doing, you will keep on getting what you have been getting. The only time you can expect a different result is after you change your method.
